You should live & breath what you love. If that’s art, never stop creating.
No, that’s not even the case. Good design is not about whether you paid to be in a club or not, it’s about being a good designer. It shouldn’t be a matter of hierarchy and alliances, and that’s what it seems to have been taken to at the school I’m attending. Secrets and lies, backstabbing and immaturity has no place in a college. I don’t care if your angry at this person for talking about this to this person, you’re immature. Design-a-thon is for members of the AIGA group. Members who have paid the price of being a member. A student group like this shouldn’t be based around the people you know and the people you want to be attending, it should be about the people who want to be attending even if you have a problem with said person. If the group does not have enough members to do the event, then cancel it. Or find more members! Or hey! Maybe you could ask other people within the major (who will actually experience client meetings like this is the near future) to be a part of this DESIGN-a-thon.
I guess what’s the point when “no one” else knows and it’s already “too late” to do anything about it.
Hi, Ashley. Type drives my interests in print & web. I love candles that smell edible.
